Urban Gunfighter
Urban Gunfighter is a three-day combat marksmanship course designed for experienced shooters preparing to employ rifle and pistol for defense in an urban environment.
Instruction emphasizes weapons handling under stress, movement, angles, target transitions, and shooting in depth and width. The movements, shooting positions, and drills are selected for their application to confined spaces and movement inside structures, developing the weapons proficiency needed to support CQB.
This is not a basic rifle or patrol rifle course. Students must arrive with established marksmanship fundamentals and safe, consistent weapons handling skills. The course builds on that foundation through increasingly demanding combat marksmanship exercises.
The course will cover:
Firearm safety
Weapons handling
Sights
Skills for accuracy
Reloading
Movement
Target transitions
Shooting in depth and width
