MTAC Training is committed to providing a safe, professional, and effective training environment. All students are required to review and acknowledge the following policies before participating in training.
These policies apply to MTAC Training's open-enrollment courses unless otherwise specified in a written agreement or course-specific policy.
1. Firearms Safety and Student Conduct
Safety is a fundamental requirement of participation in all MTAC training programs.
All students are expected to:
Follow instructions issued by MTAC instructors, range safety officers, and authorized training personnel.
Maintain proper muzzle direction and trigger discipline at all times.
Handle, load, unload, and manipulate firearms only as directed and within designated training areas.
Follow all established procedures for live-fire, non-lethal training ammunition (NLTA), and other training systems.
Wear all required protective equipment and comply with safety briefings.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment malfunctions, injuries, or other safety concerns.

Students who cannot demonstrate the prerequisite firearm-handling skills required for their course may be denied participation or dismissed.
Removal for unsafe conduct, failure to follow safety instructions, or failure to meet published prerequisites does not entitle the student to a refund, tuition credit, or transfer.
2. Cancellations, Refunds, and Transfers
MTAC reserves instructors, facilities, equipment, and student positions based on confirmed registrations.
Student-Initiated Cancellations and Transfers

Private Group Training
Private group courses may be subject to separate enrollment minimums, scheduling provisions, and cancellation terms established in the applicable agreement.

U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents may enroll in eligible courses, provided they meet all applicable legal requirements and course prerequisites.
Foreign Nationals
Foreign nationals, including individuals lawfully present in the United States on employment or student visas, may be considered for participation in eligible civilian training programs on a case-by-case basis.

Verification and Approval
MTAC reserves the right to request documentation reasonably necessary to verify identity, legal eligibility, professional credentials, and applicable authorizations.
Registration and payment do not guarantee admission. Enrollment remains subject to MTAC approval and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Prospective students with questions about eligibility should contact MTAC before registering.
4. Course Prerequisites and Required Equipment
Students are responsible for reviewing the prerequisites, required equipment, and participation requirements published for their selected course.
